I was born in Padova in 1957. As a student of uncle Gianni, an antiques trader in Milan, since my youth I breathed in the air of workshops. Later, curious to know more about gilded objects, I acquired that art and its secrets in the workshop of Maestro Bellesi in Florence. With plenty of ideas and a great creative energy, I opened my own workshop in Oleggio in 1980.
There I restore and create furniture, polichrome objects and picture frames.
The picture frames gave me the possibility to work for different galleries in Milan.
In my world I’m crafting everything following faithfully the differnt historic styles, but I felt also the desire to create handcrafted high quality modern designs made of various materials.
My favorite material is wood, to which I give a new life with joyful forms and colors, sometimes in audacious combinations... but, as we know, you can’t command the heart.
